An Advanced Solution Built from Scratch
The Suryoday campus presented an opportunity for HiFocus to create a cutting-edge CCTV system from the ground up. Led by founder Amit Shah, the HiFocus team designed a custom IP-based system tailored to the campus’s unique needs. Moreover, this modern approach, chosen over conventional analogue systems, offered superior image quality, flexibility for future upgrades, and a cost-effective long-term solution aligned with the institute’s security goals.
State-of-the-Art Technology for Unmatched Coverage
HiFocus used fibre-optic cables and PoE (Power over Ethernet) switches to provide seamless, reliable security across the sprawling campus. So, This setup enabled high-definition video transmission and simple future upgrades. HiFocus chose its top HF-D2130 Mini Dome and HF-B2140 IR Bullet Cameras for rigorous security needs.
The HF-D2130 Mini Dome Cameras were installed indoors, capturing clear 1080p footage in classrooms, hallways, and communal areas. With a wide-angle lens and 30-meter infrared (IR) capability, these cameras ensured complete coverage day and night. So, the team placed HF-B2140 IR Bullet Cameras outdoors, leveraging their IR range and IP66 rating to withstand Maharashtra’s diverse weather and ensure continuous monitoring.
Streamlined Monitoring with HiFocus’ iVMS Solution
HiFocus made monitoring easy for Suryoday’s IT team by deploying iVMS software, allowing campus security to view up to 160 cameras per PC. Furthermore, this solution removed the need for extensive NVRs, cutting costs and simplifying the use of NVRs for university staff.
. Four PCs now monitor the campus network, giving IT administrators total visibility and control.
